Rufai Akande Olanrewaju Peter Adesola was born in Imala in Abeokuta, Ogun state of Nigeria to the family of Mr Modepo Adesola and Mrs Adenrele Adesola. He is one of 10 children and started his early years in Aiyetoro. He later moved to Ago iwoye in Ogun state for his university education and graduated in 2000 with a bachelors degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University.
He started his banking career with the Citizens bank in Lagos and later joined Assurance Bank where he worked for several years before relocating to the United Kingdom to study for his masters program in International banking and finance. Rufai Adesola is married with 2 children and having served in The redeemed evangelical mission church (TREM ) for many years in Nigeria, the family joined RCCG churches in Scotland to continue their service to God.
Their local parish, RCCG KING OF GLORY EDINBURGH was inaugurated on the 9th of June, 2013 in the Gilmerton area of Edinburgh and after 5 years, God provided the church building facility in March 2018 where they currently worship and serve the community. Rufai Adesola is a passionate soul winner and cares for the well being of people everywhere
He is also a financial adviser and fundraising consultant for charities.
